RITA'S DOUBLE WIN!

Good news for London-based singer Rita Ora who has notched up her second Number 1 single of the year with track R.I.P which features Tinie Tempah.

It's been an incredible year for Rita because she is also the first artist to bag two Official Number 1 Awards - the new award created by the Official Charts Company in the 60th year of the Official Singles Chart. The trophy is presented by the Official Charts Company in partnership with Radio 1’s Official Chart to each new single to achieve Number 1 status.
Rita's first award was for chart-topping smash hit Hot Right Now, which is currently the fastest selling single of 2012 so far. 

Rita said upon receiving the double-award, “You don’t understand what this means to me. Thank you so, so, so much for this… Guys, you are the best! And I really mean that. I love you!” Hmm, do you think she might be a little bit pleased?
